The vertical upright with reduced dimensions reduces the visibility of the extrusions. The lines are thus essentials and clean.

The aluminum cover and the door form a continuous surface: everything contributes to the frame’s essential but pleasing design.

Innovative structural components for optimal glass support

Frame’s extruded profiles are tubular and are assembled by metal joints, without any additional drilling processing requirement. This allows to cut profiles to favorite size, without any drilling or milling process, always granting the perfect grip.

Tubular extruded profiles, metal joints, maximal grip, load-bearing connectors, and bi-extruded gaskets – all components collaborate to ensure the glass weight is supported by vertical uprights and horizontal crosstracks, effectively reducing the pressure by half.

Material flexibility

The system enables the creation of glass doors with aluminum frames and seamlessly integrates them with full-thickness wooden doors for mixed configurations.

Multiple configurations with Universal frame for sliding doors

Universal frame basically allows multiple different configurations: from the single sliding door, to the sliding door combined with two or three fixed elements or panels, the double sliding doors with or without additional fixed elements. Please note that possible multiple door configurations with the Universal frame do not allow synchronized motion of sliding doors.

Universal frame matches two sliding systems already in the Terno Scorrevoli range: Eclettica Fluid and Evolution Fluid.

Eclettica Fluid

By combining the Universal frame with the Eclettica Fluid sliding system, the door can be installed on the wall, directly on the ceiling, or in a false ceiling.
The external cover is designed to align perfectly with the handle, creating a continuous surface that allows for a very minimal design.

Evolution Fluid

By combining the Universal frame with the Evolution Fluid sliding system, the door can be installed on the wall or directly on the ceiling.
The door fits into the gap between the two covers, ensuring total light gap closure, with the sliding mechanisms completely concealed.
